Calm, cool and confident: building skills for success with Emma Grant, Heartfelt Change

AccelerateHER would like to invite you to an exciting afternoon exploring skills for success with Emma Grant.

Do you get overly anxious before making a presentation or having a “difficult” conversation.  Perhaps you have a nagging fear of not being good enough, feeling like an imposter? This often shows up as struggling to accept a compliment.

Are you someone who spends time replaying conversations; or perhaps you find it hard to say no to people and end up feeling overworked and underappreciated.

If any of this resonates and you’re curious to have a different experience, this session is for you.

Mindfulness is the simplest way to give your body a reset from the stresses of everyday life.  It can lead you into reflective state allowing you to be more present in your moment with less anxiety or overwhelm.

In this session, Emma will take you through some practical mindfulness exercises.  She’ll support you as you learn some tools and techniques that you can take into your work or home life.

Let’s face it, we can’t avoid stressful situations.  Life can be a bit of a rollercoaster ride.  Let’s think of mindfulness as the harness to wear so you can feel safe as you’re on the ups and downs.

Bring a notepad and pen to the session as you will be asked to jot things down for your own reflection during the exercises.

About Emma Grant:

Emma is the face and voice behind Heartfelt Change.  She is based in Taynuilt, a coastal village on the west coast of Scotland, which—with over 800 residents, streetlights and pavements—she considers to be a raving metropolis as she spent the previous 15 years living on the Isle of Coll.

Emma’s lived experience and subsequent training gives her safe hands to hold clients with a unique blend of counselling, mindfulness coaching, breathwork and meditation.

In the words of a client, Paula:

“Emma has such a calm and soothing voice. Her added sense of humour sheds light in a respectful way, on what most of us find confronting when we discuss our emotions or feelings. Emma makes you feel supported and very relaxed.”
