KTN's Chemistry and Industrial Biotechnology team would like to introduce Accelerating Net Zero Chemical Manufacturing Webinar Series. This builds on work the team has previously completed including the Net Zero Chemical Manufacturing Capability map which can be found here, the UK Catalysis project and recent articles on low carbon infrastructure and alternative feedstocks.
Sponsored by Innovate UK this webinar series looks to explore the innovation opportunities to accelerate Net Zero Chemical Manufacturing in more detail. Invited speakers will provide an overview of current capability and perspectives on the 2050 opportunity. Bringing together different technologies from across the chemical and industrial biotechnology communities including catalysis, engineering biology, formulation, fermentation, these webinars will lead to an interactive brokerage event which will identify exciting, collaborative, market-led projects to accelerate our Net Zero ambitions.
The first in this series will be held on 30th July 10.00 - 11.30 am and will focus on low carbon infrastructure, with a great speaker line up we will explore:
Low Carbon Energy
Low Carbon Hydrogen
Carbon Capture and Storage Network
and the opportunities that developments in these fields will offer to the chemical and industrial biotechnology community.
Subsequent sessions will focus on opportunities around:
The Syngas Economy - 1st September
Carbon Capture, Storage and Utilisation - 29th September
Biomass to Chemicals - 20th October
Waste polymers as a feedstock - 24th November
Brokerage event - 15th December
