Stephen Gordon

Stephen joined the IBioIC in April 2022 as the Skills Team Administrator. His role involves organisation and communication with all MSc and PhD students for training deliveries and all administrative duties involved with their academic journey.

With 33 years in the hospitality sector and a BSc in information science from the University of the West of Scotland, Stephen decided it was time to take a different career path. He has worked with the L&OD team with the British Red Cross for two and a half years before moving to the higher education sector to use his career experience and transferrable skills to this role.

He enjoys cooking (baking in particular), cinema, theatre and reading fiction as an escape
