SRG is partnering with a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry to recruit a QA Compliance Officer based in Falkirk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) or Compliance professional from a GMP environment to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Management System (QMS), including QMS monitoring, vendor qualification, audits (self-inspections, vendor, and customer audits).

  • Assist with regulatory agency registrations and compliance tracking.

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance.

  • Support and track regulatory findings and trends.

  • Review procedures and QMS documentation in line with UK, EU, US, and ICH guidelines.

  • Lead Quality Management Review meetings, identifying key concerns and ensuring follow-up actions.

  • Assist with quality-related investigations and development of CAPAs to address product, audit, and customer issues.

  • Support pre-audit preparation and post-audit follow-up for customer and regulatory inspections.

  • Escalate any significant breaches of quality or regulatory compliance to Quality Management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline (or relevant industry experience).

  • Several years’ experience in Quality Assurance (QA) within a GMP environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience conducting self-inspections and third-party supplier audits.

  • Familiarity with QMS documentation (e.g., SOPs, Deviations, Investigations, CAPAs).

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
