Decentralise Everything - Systems Thinking for Systems Science

Decentralised science is taking the world by storm, but what's all the fuss about? What if we told you that you could redesign the way we do science? Morgan Richards from ValleyDAO will discuss the principles of decentralisation, why we should challenge the systems that we've become all too accustomed to and how we can apply these strategies to accelerate synthetic biology research.

Having graduated from Imperial College London with an MRes in Systems and Synthetic Biology, Morgan is dedicated to maximising scientific impact with a focus on climate solutions. Joining ValleyDAO as Community and Communications Lead in November 2022, he's been building a powerful community to help redesign the way we conduct and translate scientific research. Morgan is extremely passionate about widening participation and lowering barriers to entry in the scientific ecosystem and hopes to create meaningful change in the Synthetic Biology and Web3 spaces - empowering the next generation to repair the damage of anthropological activities.
