This event will address issues around growing and using industrial hemp. The morning session of this meeting will focus on the Hemp supply chain including agronomy, genetic improvement and regulation. Afternoon speakers will address the commercialisation of Hemp as a functional fibre in buildings, textiles and plastic composites.

The event also includes an optional tour of the Biorenewables Development Centre and a poster competition for early-stage researchers working on the production and use of hemp to support the transition to a low-carbon economy.
