BBIA’s mission is to unite those working in the biodegradable and bio-based industries and to develop partnerships with those who share our vision: to put the bioeconomy agenda at the centre of the political debate on sustainability and economic growth in the UK
BBIA's annual conference this year takes place shortly after the date we assume the UK will have left the EU and just weeks into establishing the new government elected on 12 December 2019. Over the course of the day, we will discuss what we expect and wish from the new government with regard to its environmental policies and what we, as industry and public sector actors, will contribute to the long-term ambition of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
Speakers from government departments, public and private sector associations and industry representatives will be exploring a renewed vision for the resources and waste sector.
