Our FlexBio LCMS Feasibility Project Call is now closed! We will shortly publish the list of successful applications.

IBioIC is offering companies a unique opportunity to conduct short taster projects to assess the capacity of our Agilent QTOF LC Mass Spectrometer to screen, profile and quantify their target metabolites, peptides or small proteins.

In collaboration with specialists at our Flexible Downstream Bioprocessing Centre and experts from the Schools of Chemistry and Biological Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, our team will provide a liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LCMS) service at FlexBio for companies operating in the IB space.

FlexBio, located at Heriot-Watt University, provides semi-tech scale-up capabilities for IB-focused enterprises to move bioprocesses closer to commercialisation. The facilities support all aspects of industrial bioprocessing from biomass culturing through to product isolation and quality control.

Further information and application form are available via the download link to the right.

Applications are welcome until 16th March 2018, with taster projects (up to 4 weeks) kicking off in April 2018.
