Case study

Work is currently underway with Leading member GSK to investigate the use of alternative feedstocks for IB processes. This project complements a large scale UK wide project in this field and also involves a Scottish academic collaborator.

The funding provided by IBioIC for this project totals £110,000 with the combined project investment valued at £590,000. The outputs of the work will be key to developing the Circular Economy in Scotland.
