About the Job

  • You will be responsible for leading the procurement of a category of technical products for our customers within the Biotech sector.
  • You’ll manage large value tenders for multiple items as well as well as negotiate ad hoc high value purchases.
  • You’ll own and drive a strategy to deliver lean solutions and cost savings.
  • Building rapport with customers and suppliers at all levels, will allow you to proactively gain solid understanding of their needs and position our service to them accordingly.
  • Your expert advice and knowledge will aid in appraising options that fulfil complex specifications.
  • You will be the go-to expert able to support and guide other members of the team.


Will this job suit you?

  • You’ll likely have a scientific degree or PhD with approx. 5 years’ work experience.
  • You’ll have a solid track record of project delivery.
  • You’ll equally enjoy strategising whilst analysing the finer detail in order to support good quality judgements and decisions.
  • You’re outgoing and tenacious with a strong sense of determination.
  • You’ll have evident skills in influencing, communicating effectively and persuasively to a range of audiences, both internally and externally.
  • You’ll enjoy being part of an entrepreneurial and fun working environment, passionate about your contribution to the overall business growth.
