The Company: 

Our client are a leading chemical manufacturer of speciality materials within the consumer and media printing markets.

Location: 

This role is located in West Lothian, Scotland. The site is easily commutable from the surrounding areas via good road networks and public transport links.

The Role:

Your main duties will be:

Product testing, gathering data, tracking details of recommendations and any corrective actions with internal stakeholders on project updates.
Working on new formulations.
Supporting the development of new products and an understanding of the manufacturing operation.

Further responsibilities will include:

Support other areas of the business where necessary including Operations, Marketing and Sales.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Qualified to Degree level in chemistry or other relevant scientific discipline.
  • Knowledge / experience of working within a manufacturing background (preferably print/packaging related).
  • Ability to travel within the UK, US and Europe.

The Benefits:

A competitive salary of up to £30,000 as well as other benefits including a pension contribution of up to 6%.
