IBIOIC TO HOST THE BIOBASED INDUSTRIES CONSORTIUM (BIC) PROGRAMMING CORE TEAM MEETING

IBioIC will host the Biobased Industries Consortium (BIC) Programming Core Team meeting as part of the IBioIC19 Fringe.

The Centre is pleased to announce that it will host the Biobased Industries Consortium (BIC) Programming Core Team meeting on 29th January 2019 as part of a range of activities taking place around the IBioIC Annual Conference 2019.

The Bio-based Industries Consortium is the private partner in the €3.7 billion Public-Private Partnership on Bio-based Industries with the EU.

BIC is a non-profit organisation which was set up in Brussels in 2013. BIC represents the private sector in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the European Commission, also known as the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). This public-private partnership aims to invest € 3.7 billion in bio-based innovation between 2014 and 2020.
