INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY – PERSPECTIVES FROM INNOVATORS AND INDUSTRY – AN EVENT WITH MARKS & CLERK

Hear about some of the experiences leading local innovators have had in dealing with IP across the innovation journey and get practical tips for businesses at various stages of commercialising innovation (including those just starting to think about intellectual property).

Hosted and facilitated by the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre in collaboration with Marks & Clerk, this event will provide an overview of experiences faced by innovation active companies in relation to IP throughout their innovation journey.

This event aims to:

  • To increase awareness and understanding of IP as a tool to grow your business
  • To promote the support, services and benefits that the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre can offer the membership
  • To inform attendees of the various expertise that exists within the membership
  • To create a sense of community for IB in Scotland

Join Jo Bradley, Marks & Clerk, LLP to hear Dr Kate Rowley, Investment Director, BioScience Managers, speaking from the Viewpoint of the Investor, Scott Kennedy of Revive Eco on their pre start up journey, Martina Zupan from Alterwaste on starting up, and speakers from 3F Bio and Benchmark plc rounding off the afternoon with examples from medium and large companies. This is sure to be an interesting, informative and illuminating afternoon!
