The industrial placement programme and close links with industry are big selling points with students looking for an MSc course in Industrial Biotechnology.

Two MSc students, who travelled all the way from Brazil to attend our course here in Glasgow, recently spoke to the university about what influenced their choice and what they like about the city and the university:

IBioIC’s entire skills programme, from HND to PhD level, is strongly focused on industry engagement and our MSc programme includes a 10 week industry placement which sees students embedded in a company working on real-life projects, and many of our MSc students go on to accept permanent roles within their placement companies.

Roughly one third of all of the MSc students to date have joined us from overseas. We are delighted to hear that they are having a positive experience not only on the course, but also in the city. But we’re not surprised. After all, Glasgow was recently named one of the top ten best cities in the world to live in by Time Out.

Limited places remain available on a first-come, first-served basis. Apply now for a fully funded place on IBioIC’s MSc Industrial Biotechnology course.
